The Lions Club of Romford were delighted that, we were able to operate our street collections this year as planned, around surrounding roads of Tudor Avenue, Hylands Way, Hillcrest Road, Bush Elms Road, Drury Falls Estate, Suttons Lane/Swanboure Drive Estate with their sleigh and Santa. Additionally on some nights Mrs Claus stepped into help when Santa was a little tired. This was made possible by the kind auspices of Allen Ford of Romford, Ford Main Dealers who kindly provided the towing vehicle. We are also very grateful to Lucy and her team of Havering Fire Cadets and also to Jon and the team from North East TSG officers, Chadwell Heath as without all of them we would not have been able to collect this Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing and meeting you all again, to share the joy of this festive season. We collected just over £2300 which will be distributed to worthy causes in the London Borough of Havering.
