The Lions Club of Romford were delighted that, we were able to operate our street collections this year as planned, around surrounding roads of Tudor Avenue, Hylands Way, Hillcrest Road, Bush Elms Road, Cheviot Road, North and Southdown Road, Suttons Lane/Swanboure Drive Estate and Drury Falls Estate with their sleigh and Santa. Additionally on some nights Mrs Claus stepped into help when Santa was a little tired. This was made possible by the kind auspices of Allen Ford of Romford, Ford Main Dealers who kindly provided the towing vehicle. We are also very grateful to Lucy and her team of Havering Fire Cadets plus our many little elves as without all of them we would not have been able to collect this Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing and meeting you all again, to share the joy of this festive season. We collected £2100 which will be distributed to worthy causes within the London Borough of Havering.
