The Lions Club of Romford were delighted that, after a years absence due to COVID etc, we were able to operate our street collections, around Drury Falls Estate, Hylands Way, Hillcrest Road and surrounding roads, Suttons Lane/Swanbourne Drive Estate and surrounding roads with their sleigh and Santa, this December. This was made possible by the kind auspices of Allen Ford of Romford, Ford Main Dealers who kindly provided the towing vehicle. Together with our street collections, we also collected at Tesco’s Gallows Corner. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing and meeting you all again, to share the joy of this festive season. In total we raised over £2100 which will be distributed to worthy causes in the London Borough of Havering.
